Intro

I love watching cars and analyzing car designs. I do this at every opportunity presented. Whether I am walking to my car in a parking structure, driving on a freeway or simply drinking beer on a road side restaurant; I am busy scanning cars for newer styling cues or checking highlights on the exteriors for surface definition or just trying to figure out why certain surfaces are built in a certain way. I like it best when I am driving on a freeway. Simply because car is a moving sculpture and it looks the best when it is moving. Plus you get to see it from angles you wouldn't otherwise see. I wish I had cameras mounted all over on my car with which I could take tons of pictures of cars on the freeway as I am cruising.

Seriously, this gives me a kick. So much so, that even if I am at a car repair shop, I am not sitting in the lobby watching TV. Instead, I am in the shop, peering under the hood analyzing the aesthetics of component layout or checking for the visual gaps between panels or looking under the car to analyze the underbody design details. Sounds crazy, neh!

So what prompted me to start this blog? It didn't occur to me that I should start a blog on car design until my wife suggested. She did it simply because she is not as much of a car gal and it was just too much for her to put up with my car talks.

So, here I am with this blog to connect with like-minded folks. Hope you will find it interesting to participate in my car talks.
